Robin Thicke

As stated in my previous post, Robin Thicke will be continuing his tour this fall in the U.S. The month-long tour will be starting on Nov. 11 in Englewood, CO. After his performance in Colorado, he will make his way to the east coast and finally ending the tour in California on December 13.

Rapper-producer Jermaine Dupri hosted a pre-show party over the weekend at Club Tao in Las Vegas. Partygoers included Robin Thicke, Nelly, Travis Barker, Jamie Foxx and a list of others. Here are some pics of Robin, Nelly and Jermaine at the club.

Robin Thicke is nominated for Best Male Artist at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Other nominations include, Akon and T.I and Kanye West. Beyonce and Justin Timberlake is the top nominees up for seven VMAs each.

The awards show will air live September 9 on MTV.

The 2007 BET awards Tuesday night was filled with some good performances, the opening act of Jennifer Hudson and the ‘real’ Dreamgirl Jennifer Holliday singing ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’, was one of the highlights of the show. For me personally, next to Hudson and Holliday’s performance, I was looking forward with anticipation for Robin Thicke performing his hit single, ‘Lost Without U’ - his whole performance was simply wonderful as the song was added with a little Latin flavor.

But unfortunately Robin lost twice to Ne-Yo for Best Male Artist and Birdman ft. Lil Wayne for Viewers Choice Awards.*sigh* But it’s okay because his hard work as a singer has already paid off and he will win many awards in the future.

Despite his loss, here is the video of Thicke’s performance on the show.
