MTV’s in the Thicke of things

That MTV film crew that hit Uptown last weekend was there to interview R&B singer and musician Robin Thicke (son of Growing Pains star Alan Thicke and vocalist Gloria Loring). Robin was in town to open for Beyoncé at American Airlines Center.

MTV caught up with the crooner in the West Indies Suite at Hotel ZaZa and taped him for the show Discover & Download.

Meanwhile, the ZaZa concierge staff busied itself helping Robin find a brand-new pair of New Balance sneakers.
